We already spoke at the beginning of this guide about the usefulness of a tracker and why it’s a basic tool for affiliates who buy traffic.

Let’s see how to set up your tracker and prepare everything to launch your first campaign. Again, we’re going to use Voluum for this guide, but feel free to use other trackers and learn the ropes (or contact support) if you want to. It will be way easier if you use Voluum though, as you can copy what I’m doing in the images below.

First, you need to create a Voluum account. Open their website and click this button:

Select any plan that fits your needs and input your email and payment details to get started. It might take you a few minutes to get everything done.

After that, sign in to your dashboard and give it a look around. Check out every menu and option just to get a feel of what it does.

Now it’s time to set up your first campaign. To achieve this, you need to add:

• A traffic source
• An affiliate network
• An offer
• Landing pages (optional)
• Create a campaign

The rest of the menus are not essential and you will learn about them later in your affiliate journey.
