If you don’t have a landing page yet, or you plan to start testing directly linked offers, skip this step and come back later once you want to start testing landing pages.
Adding your landing pages to your tracker is a simple two-step process. We can define these steps as:
The first step requires that you have a landing page already hosted on some web server. You just need to grab the URL of your landing page and then go to the “landers” tab in your tracker.
Click the “create” button and select “lander” as an option:
A new menu will appear. Here, you need to input a name for your landing page, the country, and the URL of your landing page. The rest is optional, but if you’re using simple landing pages and if you don’t have a team of media buyers, you won’t need to do anything else. Here’s an example:
Now, before saving and closing that menu, make sure you copy the click URL (shown in the image above). You’ll need to add that URL to the CTA (call to action) in your landing page that goes to the offer page.
Now open your landing page in any HTML editor and find the CTA in the code where you want to link to the offer. Normally it looks like this:
You can have more than one call to action on your landing page, but for pop or push traffic it’s common to have pne or two CTAs maximum.
Place your click URL there and you’ll be good to go. Voluum needs the campaign URL and the click URL to define when and where to send the traffic from your landing page.
That’s it! Now you’re able to use landing pages in your affiliate campaigns and send the traffic to your offers correctly. Don’t forget your landing page needs to be hosted on a web server to load. We’ll see how to do that in the next module.
